High-Quality Equipment
To assure each student is comfortable handling a firearm before setting out for live fire on the range. We utilize a laser training system which imics the weight, grip, and trigger pull of a traditional firearm, providing a realistic experience without live ammunition.

Our name speaks for itself. SHo’Ya RIght is a catchy phrase my father would say often. And the mission of our training is just that; to SHOW YOU RIGHT, the right way to handle and carry a concealed firearm. To show you the right ways to practice safety.

CURRENT AND UPCOMING Programs
Concealed Carry Certification
This course meets the required 16 hour training as required by the state of Illinois.
You will learn the following:
- Handgun basics and shooting fundamentals
- Understanding how to avoid conflict and awareness of your surroundings
- The psychology of violent encounters
- The legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath)
- Home security and home defense
- Includes a gear and gadget guide that can help students concealed carry more effectively

Successsful completion of this class will have you equipped with the knowledge and confidence you need to own and carry a concealed firearm.
Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals
This course has been created by women, for women. It is a welcoming and engaging training program with multiple layers of instruction. The purpose of this training curriculum is to provide a distinctly feminine approach to personal defense, which will help you build confidence in your abilities as a gun owner.
Children’s Firearms & Safety Fundamentals: How to Teach Kids About Firearms
The goal of this class is to assist parents on how to properly introduce safety and familiarization of firearms to children.

Emergency First Aid Fundamentals
This course will teach you basic first aid and lifesaving techniques to be used in the event of a medical emergency.
You will learn how to properly assess a patient and how to deal with significant issues as well as learn how to build their own First Aid/Trauma Kit. Interetsed students will also obtain CPR training.
